24th April. Cave - Frosinone. 89km
First day with a bit of rain but it wasn't cold. We followed the old Roma-Fiuggi railway track which is now a trail.
Liberation Day, 25th April, in Italy to celebrate the end of World War II. This was a street party in Cassino, Frosinone on the eve of the big day.

 Road closed for works. We thought it was only closed for cars. |  We continued on our bikes thinking that the sign applied to cars. It was a lovely road, slightly downhill, wide, good surface, no cars. |  No bridgeThis is why the road is closed. There's no bridge across the river. |

28th April. For several km we followed a road which was closed to traffic and arrived at a river. The bridge across had been destroyed. Workmen who were leaving the site when we arrived, came back with their digger and lifted us and our bikes across to the other side! Amazing! Watch the video.
